Dr. Hanh Dang
Dr. Hanh Dang and her family immigrated to the United States from Vietnam in 1992. Dr. Dang received a BS. Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Oklahoma in 1997. She worked as a physical therapist for 6 years before pursuing higher education in dentistry.
She graduated 5th in her class at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry in 2007.
The majority of her dentistry practice has been centered on working with children since then. She is an expert at keeping small children calm and letting them know that they have nothing to fear from her dental procedures. Her quick hand skills and gentle manner help kids get through their visits to the dentist without unnecessary trauma.
Dr. Dang has been with Super Smiles since 2010. She has been a volunteer with Good Shepard providing free dental services to people who otherwise cannot afford such. She has also worked with the Oklahoma Special Olympics program and numerous local schools to provide dental screenings.
Her family’s successful story is proof that this country is the land of opportunity. Her parents’ dream for their children’s future came true after years of hard work. She has a sister who is an Optometrist, and three brothers: one is a Mechanical Engineer, one is an ENT doctor (ear, nose and throat), and one is a Nephrologist (a kidney doctor).
Dr. Dang is a proud member of the American Dental Association, the Oklahoma Dental Association, and the Tulsa County Dental Society. She is fluent in English, Vietnamese and is learning to speak Spanish. She is an avid Physical Fitness enthusiast, an expert chef, and enjoys the arts, fashion, and traveling the world.
